Hanes: Quebec needs to stop defeatist hyperbole on fragility of French

“Quebec is more polarized today than it has been in decades in large part over the undisputed assertion that French is under threat from all sides,” writes columnist Allison Hanes. This issue will be one of several discussed at Thursday’s conference, co-sponsored by the Quebec Community Groups Network.
