MONTREAL, December 1, 2025 – The appointment of Liberal MP Marc Miller as the new Minister of Canadian Identity, Culture and Official Languages is a positive development, TALQ President Eva Ludvig said today.

Miller, MP for Ville-Marie-le Sud-Ouest-Ile des Soeurs, served as Immigration Minister under former prime minister Justin Trudeau, as well as portfolios involving Indigenous relations.
